Activités de recherche :
– Usinage des matériaux anisotropes hétérogènes : travail sur la mise en place de modèles
permettant la fiabilisation des méthodes de calculs d'efforts de coupe, à la
fois sur le bois (matériau composite naturel), et sur les composites de
synthèse utilisés dans l'aéronautique. Optimisation des conditions de coupe et
mise en place de méthodologies permettant le respect de l'intégrité matière,
machine et des personnes. De nombreux travaux de recherche en collaboration
avec l'université d'Antananarivo en Madagascar sont actuellement menés (mesures
de coefficients de frottements, essais de caractérisations d'essences
tropicales,"¦).
– Caractérisation des matériaux : il s'agit le plus souvent de travaux sur la
caractérisation physico-mécanique de matériaux usinés : liens entre
caractéristiques du matériau et états de surface, ou encore, liens
entre efforts de coupe obtenus lors de l'usinage et intégrité des pièces
(contrôle santé matière via méthodes CND US BF & HF).
– Développement de nouvelles structures multi-matériaux base bois : travaux sur la mise en œuvre et la
caractérisation de nouvelles structures sandwich avec à¢me bois et peaux
composites

Cours/TD/TP en Sciences Des Matériaux et Dimensionnement Des Structures.
Encadrement de projets et de stagiaires.
